Milkalyser take part in Pitch@Palace
If you follow us on twitter (if not follow us here), over the last month or so you may have seen us tweeting about Pitch@Palace. You may have also noticed the new logo in our website footer. This is all because last month we were invited to take part in an exciting global programme for innovative entrepreneurs. Pitch@Palace gives early-stage businesses the opportunity improve their network and connections by giving them access to an audience of potential supporters who can help make their business dreams a reality.
Milkalyser were pleased to be selected to take part in a Pitch@Palace on tour event at Exeter College, with Ben and Frankie representing Milkalyser. The day featured a packed schedule of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. At the end of the day each of the entrepreneurs were invited to deliver a three minute elevator pitch introducing their business and stating their ‘ask of the audience’.
However, this was no ordinary pitching event, Pitch@Palace has a decidedly regal twist. From the pre-pitch briefing by the Duke of York, to the trumpeting Guardsmen signifying the end of your three minute pitch. The whole day had a real sense of occasion and this helped to make the event both exciting and memorable!
For Milkalyser, Pitch@Palace was a fantastic opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs and businesses. With most businesses being local to the south west, but from outside of the AgriTech industry, this was particularly valuable. Exploring the connections between different industries provided a great foundation for future collaboration. The day also provided a fascinating insight into the diversity of innovation within the region.
