Toby Mottram to speak at international conference
Toby Mottram, the founder of Milkalyser, will be speaking at an international conference next week. The 2nd Connected Agriculture and Construction Machinery Forum will take place on the 26th-27th November 2019 in Amsterdam.
The conference will cover a range of topics surrounding smart farming including the use of sensors, drones, and robotics. Overall there will be a focus on the future of farming, and the role that digital technologies will have to play in it.
As the founder of multiple successful companies, Toby will be sharing his wealth of experience in the Agritech industry. In a talk entitled ‘The Seven Year Gap: How Digital Agritech can get through the Valley of Death’, Toby will be focusing on how to ensure longevity in Agritech start-ups and how to secure funding.
In particular Toby will be discussing both the challenges of rapid prototype development, as well as exploring how to fund this process. He will also be sharing the story of developing an inline sensing and analysis system for agriculture, and discussing the future of in-field immunosensing within the industry.
